US-Hating Singer Whines About Hard Life Then Factory Worker Sets Her Straight

Many Hollywood celebrities seem to think that Americans listen to everything they say and can relate to them, but the reality of the situation is quite different.

America-hating pop star Ariana Grande got into some trouble on Instagram recently when she posted a photo of herself with a caption claiming that she was the “hardest working 23-year-old on the planet,” Independent Journal Review reported.

(WARNING: The Instagram Post below contains strong language.)

This is the same pop star who was once caught licking doughnuts in a bakery while the employees weren’t watching and who strongly advised them of her hatred for America — though she did eventually take those comments back and apologize.

Tommi Wildnauer, a 23-year-old factory worker, spoke to Independent Journal Review about what it means actually to be a hardworking American and how much she sacrifices for her six-month-old son.

“I was able to work my way up enough that I now work in a nice, air-conditioned lab on day shift making $21.50 an hour. At 20 years old I started at $21,840 a year, to now at 23 years old making $44,720. No college degree, no experience,” she stated, describing how she got up at 4 a.m. every day to go to work.

Then she added this whammy of a statement:

“$44,720 might be the price of diamonds on your neck at an award show, but for me it’s my living that I doubled in three years’ time, and I couldn’t be more proud,” she said.

There are actual hardworking Americans like Wildnauer out there who know what it means actually to do hard work, and from their point of view being a pampered celebrity isn’t real work. Getting up at the crack of dawn to go and do an honest and unglamorous job is real work.

Celebrities are utterly disconnected from ordinary Americans, and Grande’s Instagram post is further proof of that. Maybe Grande should trade places with Wildnauer for a day and see what real work is actually like.
