Greg Piatek, a Philadelphia accountant and avid supporter of President Donald Trump, has reportedly launched a lawsuit against the The Happiest Hour bar in Manhattan over its employees’ penchant for grade-A liberal bigotry and discrimination.
According to the New York Post, Piatek and two of his pals stopped by the bar on Jan. 28 after visiting the 9/11 Memorial, hoping to grab a few drinks. At first everything seemed OK, but when they tried to order a second round of drinks, things got ugly.
“Is that hat a joke?” one of the bartenders asked them, pointing to Piatek’s “Make America Great Again” hat, which he had earlier been wearing backwards, after they complained that their requests for more drinks were being ignored.
“Ignoring me because I’m wearing the hat is ridiculous,” the accountant replied. “It’s really sad.”
The reportedly “flustered” bartender then served their second round of drinks, though he also “slammed the drinks down” as he did so, according to Piatek.
As if that weren’t bad enough, the Philadelphia man was then hassled by another bartender for being a “terrible” person and told by a third bartender not to dare to order a drink from her.
Charming people, huh? But at least they tolerated his presence, whereas the bar’s owner, Jon Neidlich, was so stunningly intolerant that he reportedly demanded the trio leave the bar immediately.
“Anyone who supports Trump or believes what you believe is not welcome here,” he reportedly told the on-duty manager to tell Piatek and his pals. “And you need to leave right now because we won’t serve you!”
Piatek has since sued the bar. The details of the suit were not immediately known.
As noted by The Washington Times, anti-MAGA-hat bigotry (which, apparently, is a real thing, courtesy of liberal intolerance) runs pretty darn deep.
During a recent experiment in which he donned a MAGA hat to observe its effects on others, New York Post reporter Dean Balsamini “almost caused a ‘riot’ in one bar, elicited oaths and multiple F-bombs in several restaurants and retail stores, along with repeat ‘death stares’ on the street,” according to The Times.
“I’m surprised nobody’s knocked that hat off your head!” a mother of two reportedly told the reporter.
Welcome to post-Obama America, folks, where simply expressing your support for the current president is enough to get you harassed and even potentially beaten up. Kudos to Piatek for taking a bold and much-needed stand against this insanity.
