Trump Reminds Hillary on What She Said About Not Accepting the Election Outcome

Now that Donald Trump is the president-elect, the liberal refrain of “accept the results” that they used as a mantra against Trump in the run-up to the election has been shelved. Instead, the new hashtag for the left is #Recount2016.

President-elect Trump isn’t the only person to notice the incongruity, and he absolutely savaged Hillary Clinton with a tweet about what the Democratic nominee said when she tried to lecture Trump during one of the debates.

“Hillary’s debate answer on delay: ‘That is horrifying. That’s not how democracy works’,” the president-elect tweeted.

“The Democrats, when they incorrectly thought they were going to win, asked that the election night tabulation be accepted. Not so anymore!” he added. “Hillary Clinton conceded the election when she called me just prior to the victory speech and after the results were in. Nothing will change.”

And just in case you thought that The Donald was misremembering things, here’s a tweet from Hillary as well as the debate performance, both dug up by The Daily Caller.

This was a comment made during the final debate, too. I know we’ve speculated on Hillary’s various alleged senilities, but she should at least be able to reach back that far and remember it.

Perhaps what’s most disturbing about this development is that, as CNN reports, they’re only “joining” the effort, which was started by Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

Stein, who has no chance of winning anything — not even matching federal funds — might look a bit like a stalking horse to Trump supporters convinced that Hillary is behind the whole thing. However, the Clinton campaign has handled the whole thing in the most Hillary way possible: they’re fine with joining the recount, just so long as she’s not the one who started it. Right.

This recount will change absolutely nothing, and at the end of the day, all that will be revealed is how hypocritical the left is. There’s no evidence of hacking and none of the states being recounted are close enough for Hillary to make up the votes she needs.
