President Donald Trump‘s first extensive interview with a cable network will go to Sean Hannity of Fox News.
Hannity’s hour-long interview will air Thursday at 10 p.m. Eastern. Trump’s first in-depth interview since taking office went to ABC’s David Muir. That interview will air Wednesday at 10 p.m. Eastern.
Fox News said the interview will cover major executive orders Trump signed this week, Trump’s relationship with the media, his upcoming Supreme Court nomination and the first 100 days of his presidency.
The interview will be conducted during the day Thursday in the White House.
Hannity was a vocal pro-Trump supporter before the election, and frequently had Trump on his show.
Hannity’s support for Trump drew the ire of former Fox host Megyn Kelly, who in her book alleged that unnamed Fox hosts arranged their sessions with Trump in advance and were “acting” when the show went live. Hannity responded to Kelly’s comments as though the remarks were aimed at him.
I would love to know who was “Acting”. https://t.co/AZxax2rpur

Hannity also appeared in a video promoting Trump’s candidacy.
On Tuesday, Hannity wrote an op-ed on the Fox News Channel website that Trump was conducting “a shock and awe campaign” against the Washington establishment.
“Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do,” Hannity said. “That’s unheard of, and maybe even frightening, in Washington. But outside the beltway, it is refreshing.
He repeated that view in an interview with Laura Ingraham.
“You know, my take on Trump … is that he’s the guy that is really dedicated to the promises that he made. And I think he’s probably going to shock this city,” Hannity said of the nation’s capital.
“And if he does it right, he’s going to open up a nerve center. And it’s going to be a raw nerve that’s exposed. And inside that nerve, he’s going to be pressing pain onto the Republican establishment, the Democratic establishment. And certainly we’ve already seen it with the media establishment. If he does that, the people will cheer,” Hanity said.
