After Trump Canada Decides THEY Want to Start Deporting Illegals

President Donald Trump became unpopular with the left when he announced his plan to deal with immigration issues. From building a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico and deporting illegal immigrants already in the country to putting a ban on travel from countries with terrorist ties, Trump has not only strengthened his resolve to secure American borders — he has also begun having an effect on other countries now looking to follow his lead.

In fact, one of America’s neighbors has reportedly started to see the need for stronger immigration laws, and it’s a country you might not expect: A very sizable portion of Canada’s population would support the deportation of illegal visitors.

“Nearly half of Canadians want to deport people who are illegally crossing into Canada from the United States, and a similar number disapprove of how Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is handling the influx, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Monday,” Reuters reported.

The poll, dramatically titled “Fleeing Trump,” found that four out of 10 respondents believed that illegal border crossers could make Canada “less safe,” highlighting some of the issues that Canada’s Prime Minister Trudeau’s liberal government was causing.

“The increasing flow of hundreds of asylum-seekers of African and Middle Eastern origin from the United States in recent months has become a contentious issue in Canada,” the Reuters report contended.

Many on the left have pointed to Canada as a country representative of their ideals, the main arguments being that Canada was more “civilized” because of its open attitude toward multiculturalism and the country’s rejection of nationalist tendencies. In fact, many leftist celebrities and others openly stated their plans to move to Canada if Trump were elected.

Well he was, and those same celebrities are still on American soil — and it seems that Canada may not want to welcome them after all. Canada is tired of playing host to people trying to run away, and that includes immigrants from war-torn countries and may also include infantile liberals running away from the fact that they lost the presidential election.

While there is no plan to deport illegal immigrants already in Canada — and a plan seems unlikely under Trudeau’s government — the fact that nearly half of Canada’s population would like stronger immigration rules and the deportation of illegals is something Canadian politicians should keep in mind.

President Trump was unpopular for his opinion … but that’s largely just because he was the first to say it. This immigration problem is something many people in Western nations are facing and not happy about.

Don’t kill the messenger; just heed the message.
