After a terrorist carried out a heinous attack on Westminster Bridge in London, the government learned that an American had been the during the incident. President Donald Trump expressed his condolences to the man’s family — and liberals childishly freaked over one phrase.
After learning that Kurt Cochran, a Utah man, was killed during the terror attack, President Trump tweeted, “A great American, Kurt Cochran, was killed in the London terror attack. My prayers and condolences are with his family and friends.”

However, that was not good enough for the legion of liberal Twitter users who were quick to lambaste Trump for his use of the phrase “great American.”
Many users commented on the murder of a black man that happened in New York City Wednesday and asked Trump where his condolences were for that victim.
One user boldly accusing Trump of racism:

Another user asked, “Granted this is a terrible loss, but how does @realDonaldTrump know he’s a great American?”
— Jeffrey Guterman (@JeffreyGuterman) March 23, 2017
Apparently Guterman was unfamiliar with the fact that the word “eulogy” derives from the Greek words meaning “to speak well of.” That’s what we generally try to do of the dead, at least in this country. (To his credit, Guterman later apologized for his tweet, admitting that it was “insensitive.”)
The liberal whiners just kept at it, deflecting from the major point that we lost an American life during that attack and we should all be sending prayers and condolences to Cochran’s family instead of getting into an online fight with our president.
@realDonaldTrump How swift, yet you never acknowledged the attack at the mosque in Canada.
— E (@esheikh_) March 23, 2017
Yeah, well … he’s not the president of Canada. But, whatever.
Clearly, this point was completely lost on them. They’d rather use the death of an American overseas as an excuse to vent their spleens.
Kurt Cochran, you were a great American. Rest in peace.
