Tomi Lahren, the precocious 24-year-old conservative political commentator who rose to fame hosting a daily news talk show on TheBlaze TV, has been permanently banned from the network by its founder, Glenn Beck, over pro-choice remarks she made on ABC’s “The View” two weeks ago.
At the time, Lahren insinuated that Republicans who purport to advocate for limited government but maintain pro-life views — or what she described as the belief that “the government should decide what women do with their bodies” — were hypocrites.
This shocking statement led to Lahren being placed under what was to be a temporary suspension early last week. But as of Sunday, that suspension has been escalated to a full and permanent ban, according to Page Six.
Her full statement from “The View” may be heard below:

“Glenn is reminding the world of his conservative principles by sidelining Tomi after she insulted conservatives by calling them hypocrites,” an insider at TheBlaze reportedly claimed. “He’s trying to balance being a leading conservative thinker and also someone who can unify the country.”
“He just couldn’t sit by and watch as Tomi Lahren said there’s no way for conservatives to justify anything other than being pro-choice,” the insider added.
The ban was somewhat expected, as the relationship been Lahren and Beck had grown sour quite some time ago, particularly because of the young host’s feverish support for President Donald Trump, whom Glenn has generally disliked from day one.
“It’s no secret that Tomi and I don’t agree on quite a lot,” Beck admitted on his radio program last Monday while discussing Lahren’s comments, which he repudiated in full, according to Red State.
Plus, in response to a TV producer tweeting to him last month that he needed to “lead the way for conservatives to stand up to Trump” but noting that it needed “to start at home w/ @TomiLahren,” Beck issued a pithy agreement.

Lahren’s support for Trump and her stunning endorsement of abortion were apparently more in combination than Beck could stomach.
Lahren probably has plenty of other opportunities available to her. Of late she’s been appearing on Fox News as a guest of Sean Hannity quite often.
