After all, this is the woman who once got in trouble for disrespecting the national anthem and even ran for the Green Party nomination for president. She’s supporting Donald Trump now?
Well, it seems that the sitcom legend has come around after eight years of Barack Obama. She’s expressed her support for Trump before, but she still shocked many people “resisting” the Trump presidency with a surprising tweet last week.
Take a look:
trump IS the resistance

Well, that got a bit of attention.
And surprisingly, most of it was good.

@therealroseanne Amen! It’s crazy to me that people don’t see it. He’s taking on an establishment that has been sticking it to us for yrs!

Barr is the latest person to see that the anti-Trump so-called “resistance” is really just a heavily astroturfed version of the establishment, prominently covered by the media to look like a brave grassroots movement of outraged liberals.
America is sick of it, but liberal Hollywood usually isn’t — which is what makes Barr’s defection so interesting.
This isn’t the first time Barr has come out swinging for Trump. Last summer, she told The Hollywood Reporter that, “I think we would be so lucky if Trump won. Because then it wouldn’t be Hillary (Clinton).”
When asked what was wrong with Clinton, she responded that the Democrat presidential nominee was “friends with everybody that gives her any g******** money. The fact is, you don’t get to be the nominee without taking a lot of dirty money … I like Trump because he financed his own (campaign). That’s the only way he could’ve gotten that nomination. Because nobody wants a president who isn’t from Yale and Harvard and in the club.”
During the interview, Barr — a feminist icon — expressed her displeasure with the direction of the feminist movement.
“You wonder if you should even use the F word anymore,” Barr said of feminism “And maybe we shouldn’t. Maybe we should just let it go because a new word is needed and always in a revolution you need to update. You can’t use dusty old terms that have lost their meaning and become co-opted and a canned rhetoric. It’s time for a new word and it’ll come ’cause it always comes when it’s most needed.”
She may not be a typical conservative, but Roseanne Barr definitely gets it when it comes to Donald Trump.
