NPR Under Fire After Biased Tweet Results in EPIC Twitter Meltdown

Government-funded NPR decided to run an article about President Donald Trump’s mental health and, in doing so, managed to insinuate that he isn’t fit to be president.

Unsurprisingly, the left is still working diligently to discredit Trump at every opportunity — regardless of how it looks.

“At 70, Trump is the oldest American president to ever take office. Couple his age with a family history of dementia — his father, Fred, developed Alzheimer’s disease in his 80s — and one could argue that the question of baseline cognitive testing for the U.S. head of state has taken on new relevance,” the story said.

To promote the piece, the massive, taxpayer-funded organization posted a tweet that focused on Trump’s family history.

“Trump is the oldest American president to ever take office, and his family has a history of dementia.”

The post had many people scratching their heads as it was clearly a hit piece against the president.

The piece is so anti-Trump, it had many people saying they wouldn’t support the organization any more.

Others called for federal funds to be yanked from the left-leaning station.

Some asked the very obvious question of where this overwhelming concern about health was when Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was running for office. After all the many reasons we had to question her health, the mainstream media never felt there was much justification to pursue such issues.

There is no other answer than typical liberal bias — just more extreme and insulting in this case, since Trump supporters’ tax money was used to pay for irt.

While NPR thought it might have convinced a few of its followers that Trump’s health was a legitimate concern, what it actually did was show just how far its partisanship goes.

It may live to regret is as millions of supporters see this piece as nothing more than a tacky attempt to discredit Trump.
