Minix is preparing to launch a new fanless mini PC, the MINIX Neo Z300-dB, which offers several upgrades over the previously reviewed MINIX Neo Z100-dB.
This compact PC now features an Intel i3-N300 processor, which delivers significant improvements over the Intel N100 found in the Neo Z100-dB. The Intel i3-N300 boasts 8 cores and 8 threads, doubling the core count of the N100. It also operates at a higher speed of up to 3.8 GHz and comes with a superior integrated GPU. This upgrade will enhance the overall performance of the mini PC, while passive cooling ensures silent operation.

The MINIX Neo Z300-dB mini PC is powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core i3-N300 processor, built using a 10 nm process, with a maximum power consumption of just 7 W. This Octa-Core chip supports 8 threads and operates at up to 3.8 GHz. It also includes an Intel Core UHD GPU with 32 Execution Units (EUs) running at up to 1.25 GHz. The i3-N300 is ideal for productivity tasks, education, casual/light gaming, and medium-load design applications.
