You may have recently seen concerned posts on social media from friends and acquaintances regarding a group of rather ominous looking large black trucks traveling together along the highways of our nation.
The group of trucks, which have no license plates and are painted matte black with a bright yellow radioactive symbol featured along with the words “Mutation Response Vehicle,” have been spotted in at least three states and have sparked conspiratorial worries among some, such as The Denver City Page.
There are those who believe the trucks belong to the government or United Nations and were being pre-staged for some sort of disease outbreak, such as the Zika virus in Florida, or were being positioned in preparation for a declaration of martial law. Others have suggested they were props or a public relations stunt for a soon-to-be-released movie.
As usual, the apparent truth about these vehicles was far less dramatic than the conspiratorial theories that have sprung up as explanations.

According to Pathogen Trackers, the group of trucks traveling across the nation were a zombie apocalypse-themed art exhibit for the annual hippie festival known as “Burning Man,” which takes place in the Nevada desert.
The vehicles are actually cleverly disguised food trucks and sanitation facilities for attendees of the event who need sustenance, a place to “decontaminate” — i.e. take a shower and use the bathroom — and a place to rest momentarily while being treated to a “heightened perspective” of everything going on around them, perhaps from a comfy chair atop a large RV painted in a distinctive fashion.
Of course, some will dismiss this perfectly logical explanation as a cover-up of “what’s really going on,” but as the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink.
