List Of Prospects For Top White House Jobs Revealed

Shortly after President-elect Donald Trump’s huge win Tuesday, the daunting task of transition went into full swing, and now a list has been revealed of prospects for some of the top White House jobs up for grabs.

The list included a host of key figures in Trump’s campaign — with one that may surprise you.

The list, obtained by The Daily Caller from someone on the transition team under the condition of anonymity because the team is not supposed to speak to the media, was described as a “working document” used to guide Trump and enable him to envision how his White House will shape up.

Here’s a look at some of of the names from the list below which includes some familiar figures from Trump’s very successful 2016 campaign:

#1 Reince Priebus, Chairman of the Republican National Committee

Priebus was being considered for the role of assistant to the president and chief of staff.

#2 Kellyanne Conway, campaign manager for Trump’s presidential campaign and longtime fixture in the Republican party

Conway was up for assistant to the president and press secretary or assistant to the president and senior adviser.

#3 Stephen K. Bannon, Trump’s campaign chairman and former executive chairman of Breitbart

Bannon is up for assistant to the president and chief of staff and therefore up against Priebus. Bannon may be a surprising pick to some, and if he is chosen for the job, one that is often said to set the tone for the White House, it will say a great deal about the direction Trump plans to go, as Bannon is very anti-establishment.

#4 Corey Lewandowski, former Trump campaign manager

Lewandowski was up for a couple of positions in the White House, according to the list — assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for planning as well as assistant to the president and senior adviser.

#5 Retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, head of the Defense Intelligence Agency under President Barack Obama

Flynnhas been an outspoken supporter of Trump and has alleged that he lost his post under the Obama administration because of his tough stance on radical Islam.

Flynn is being considered for assistant to the president and national security advisor.

This is just a sampling of the list, but it shows just how many capable people there are in the wings to assist Trump with all the things he has ahead of him as president. It should be fascinating to see how this all shakes out in the coming weeks.
