Take heed, conservatives who reside in New York City, because if all goes as reportedly planned, failed Democrat presidential nominee and shrill geriatric patient Hillary Rodham Clinton may one day be your mayor.
Seriously. I wish that were a joke.
As reported by Mediaite, “Hillary for Mayor” signs have begun springing up all across New York City. Seen on subways, on the front doors of local business and elsewhere, these signs were an omen that did not bode well for those of the city’s residents who were hoping and praying that the Democrat stronghold would finally swing back to the sane right.

Did these signs actually portend something, or were they just the creations of some Hillary-obsessed loyalist? Nobody knew for certain.
Speaking with The Real Deal magazine two months ago, billionaire Red Apple Group CEO John Catsimatidis, a sometime Republican but a faithful Clinton donor, revealed only that he had spoken with Clinton about running for mayor but that she had not yet reached a decision.
“I spoke to her about it but she didn’t indicate or signal to me (whether she would run),” he said. “She didn’t say never, she didn’t say no. In my personal opinion it’s 50-50.”

According to a Quinnipiac University poll published in January, if Clinton did run for mayor against incumbent Mayor Bill de Blasio, she would score 49 percent of votes to his 39 percent.
“In the Clinton-de Blasio matchup, Clinton leads 61-29 percent among Democrats and 45-31 percent among independent voters,” the poll reported. “Republicans back de Blasio 28-18 percent. She leads among men and women and black, white and Hispanic voters.”
Granted, a repeat of de Blasio would be plenty bad by itself — but still, the thought of Hillary Rodham Clinton managing New York City’s affairs is anything but sweet. It’s more like a frightening story straight from the mind of Alfred Hitchcock.
Cue the Psycho sound effects in 3 … 2 … 1 …
