Herman Cain Exposes BOMBSHELL Truth About “Fake News”

The liberal media started a new campaign to discredit the 2016 election, saying “fake news” sites swung the election in favor of President-elect Donald Trump.

Tea party activist and author Herman Cain posted an article on his website by HermanCain.com writer Dan Calabrese pointing out the flaws in the theory, which claims that “fake news” sites took over social media sites such as Facebook in an effort to take down Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Buzzfeed study first published the claims about “fake news,” and said that those hoaxes generated over 8 million shares, likes and comments on Facebook.

Moreover, the study says that of the 20 top-performing false election stories, all but three were pro-Donald Trump or anti-Hillary Clinton, thus sabotaging the election by poisoning Americans’ minds in favor of the Republican nominee.

Cain explained that these so called “fake news” websites are right-leaning sources. If these are the standards for fake sources, he makes the argument that sites such as The Huffington Post, CNN, The New York Times, Salon and MSNBC should also be deemed hoax sites, since they promote liberal agendas and often share false stories about conservatives in order to further their own liberal plans.

Cain noted that many Americans also believe liberal sources such as these, and in that case the election might have been rigged in favor of Clinton. The liberal media’s standard of “fake sites” is purely subjective.

Cain warned that targeting conservative sites as “fake” would be “the beginning of a purge that would ultimately marginalize all sources of information that are not pleasing to the political left … a lot of perfectly legitimate sites would get caught up in this giant fishnet.”

Even Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg thinks these scurrilous claims about conservative sites are “crazy.”

The Verge reported that Zuckerberg discredited the lies while at a tech conference.

“I do think there is a certain profound lack of empathy in asserting that the only reason someone could have voted the way they did is they saw some fake news,” the billionaire said. “Why would you think there would be fake news on one side and not the other?”

“Personally I think the idea that fake news on Facebook, which is a very small amount of the content, influenced the election in any way — I think is a pretty crazy idea,” he continued. “Voters make decisions based on their lived experience.”

And even though Trump’s popularity has risen since the election, the left hasn’t given up on promoting the claim.

A list of “fake news” is being circulated around the internet trying to discredit any conservative news sites. Cain’s website gives just a few of those websites: Project Veritas, Breitbart, Twitchy, Red State and TheBlaze, all news sources known as conservative truth-seekers.
