End results are great and all, but I’m the kind of person who enjoys a good behind-the-scenes look at how things are done. Give me special features and bonus material any day.
If you’re like me, you enjoy seeing more than just the final product. And if you’re a fan of Joanna Gaines, one-half of the dynamic duo starring on HGTV’s Fixer Upper, now wrapping up its fourth season, I’m betting you’ll throw an impromptu dance party over this next bit of news.
In her most recent Instagram video, Joanna and her husband Chip announced an upcoming Fixer Upper spinoff series. Are you dancing yet?
Each Behind the Design episode will last half an hour. The episodes will give fans an “inside scoop” on how Joanna does what she does, along with a closer look at where her inspiration and design decisions stem from.
Did you catch that? You can get a sneak peek at Behind the Design during Fixer Upper’s season 4 finale, airing Tuesday, March 28 at 9 p.m. EST.
Now I’m sure you’re winding down from excitement, but I haven’t told you the best part. Are you ready for this?
HGTV is coming out with not one, not two, but FIVE new Flip or Flop spinoffs. Thank you, Scripps Network!
While there’s been some behind-the-scenes drama between Flip or Flop‘s co-ctars Tarek and Christina El Moussa, the show has remained a huge success. Now the network is taking this show on the road, featuring different house-flipping couples in cities across the United States.
Scripps’ U.S. programming and development general manager Allison Page said, “The tremendous, consistent ratings success of the original Flip or Flop . . . inspired us to take a new look at house flipping programming. We saw an opportunity to highlight what works in other regions by featuring successful couples that had mastered the art of flipping in their town.”
HGTV will premiere Flip or Flop Las Vegas on April 6 at 9 p.m. EST. The remaining four spinoffs will air over the next year or so, with Flip or Flop Atlanta landing this summer.
You know the drill. Get that Pinterest board ready and grab your sledgehammer (and a hard hat), because 2017 is going to be a big year in redesign!
