For the past several days, the news cycle has been dominated by talk about Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state, thanks to Friday’s announcement by the FBI that it was reopening their investigation of her private server.
While most of the attention has been focused on the FBI, WikiLeaks has continued to release thousands of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s hacked emails, including one that has been particularly illuminating.
The email in question, which appeared on Wikileaks, was sent to Podesta in 2015 from Tom Nides, former deputy secretary of state for management and resources.
In addition to giving advice to Podesta on how to handle the growing email scandal, Nides also offered some insight into the Obama administration.
“Btw (by the way) you know as well as I every g**d*** cabinet officer and WH staff uses there (sic) gmail account!” he wrote.
So what Nides appeared to be saying was that every cabinet official in the Obama administration has used a private email server, in direct violation of multiple federal laws.
This should speak volumes about the type of government President Barack Obama is running. He hires people who have no respect for the laws of this country and who do whatever they please.
This is completely unacceptable, and every government employee, Republican or Democrat, who broke these rules should be appropriately punished. We’re talking about national security here, not jaywalking.
Using private email accounts could seriously damage our national security. The fools we have working in the government were so concerned about making their own lives easier that they were willing to put the entire country in danger.
We need a new leader in Washington who will wipe out the corruption and employ people who actually respect and love this country. We need a leader like Republican nominee Donald Trump.
