Country Music Star Luke Bryan Suffers ANOTHER Devastating Loss When Infant Niece Passes Away

Luke Bryan is a very popular Country Music singer and songwriter. He is also well-known as a philanthropist and assists various causes.

He’s a hard-working entrepreneur who has strung together many hit singles and albums. Also the co-owner of “Buck Commander,” he has a reported net worth of over 40 million dollars.

You may have seen Bryan recently on the GRAMMY Awards Show. He sang the national anthem at this year’s Super Bowl in Houston, too.

He’ll be the first to agree that all that success and wealth does not exempt him from his share of tragedy and heartache. He and his wife Caroline have had their fair share.

Luke and Caroline were college sweethearts and have been married since 2006. Shortly after that, in 2007, Bryan’s sister Kelly passed away.

Seven years later (2014), Kelly’s husband Ben Lee Cheshire died suddenly, leaving behind three children. Before any of this, Luke had also lost an older brother, Chris, in 1996 as a result of a car accident.

The Lord certainly does work in mysterious ways. Some folks seem to have more than their fair share of tragedy and heartbreak.

On Tuesday, the Bryan’s infant niece, Sadie Brett Boyer, died. She was born last summer with cardiac issues and had battled them for her entire, short life.

Sadie was the daughter of Bo and Ellen Boyer. Bo is the brother of Caroline Bryan.

The picture below was taken three weeks ago when things were looking optimistic for Sadie. Things were really looking up a week ago after Sadie underwent a procedure.

Ellen even posted on Feb. 16 that “this has been our best week yet.” Unfortunately, infection set in and little Sadie faced a tremendous battle.

On Feb. 19, Ellen relayed, “we take ten steps forward and five steps back.” On Tuesday, the amazing, brave little fighter could fight no more.

The notes of support and condolence are coming in from all over the world. Bryan reached out to fans and said the family “thanks all of you for your prayers. Love y’all.”

In a Facebook post, Ellen Boyer posted a heartbreakingly sweet response filled with understandable sorrow and God-given joy over being able to share in the little one’s short, but incredibly meaningful, life. “Please join us in continuing to pray,” she wrote. “Prayers of gratitude for a life, although too brief, of great great purpose and love.”

May sweet little Sadie rest in peace. Our sympathy and prayers for the family in this difficult time.
