In an effort to communicate more effectively with the American voting public, GOP nominee Donald Trump bypassed media outlets to address accusations by former “The Apprentice” contestant Summer Zervos.
Zervos has claimed that Trump made unwanted sexual advances toward her — one of many women to accuse Trump of wrongdoing since the “locker room talk” video that was released a week ago.
Trump had a very different take.
“I vaguely remember Ms. Zervos as one of the many contestants on ‘The Apprentice’ over the years,” Trump wrote on Facebook.
“To be clear, I never met her at a hotel or greeted her inappropriately a decade ago,” he declared; this is what she has alleged.
“That is not who I am as a person,” he continued, “and it is not how I’ve conducted my life. In fact, Ms. Zervos continued to contact me for help, emailing my office on April 14 of this year asking that I visit her restaurant in California.”
Trump went beyond defending himself from the one incident; he seemed fed up with the all-out assault by the media of his character, calling it a “theater of absurdity that threatens to tear our democratic process apart and poison the minds of the American public.”
“When Gloria Allred is given the same weighting on national television as the president of the United States,” he said, “and unfounded accusations are treated as fact, with reporters throwing due diligence and fact-finding to the side in a rush to file their stories first, it’s evident that we truly are living in a broken system.”
Trump’s realization that the system was broken led to what Trump does best — innovating the system and addressing the public more directly.
“In the coming days I plan on addressing our nation in a more personal way to present my vision for how together we fight to bring back American jobs and defend our country against radical Islamic terrorism. I will take my message directly to the American people and bypass the unethical press that wants to see their candidate elected. Together, we will make America great again,” Trump concluded.

The mainstream media cannot be trusted to report the truth about Donald Trump or Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton. Instead of harnessing the dishonesty as Clinton has done, Trump is defying it.
Leave it to Donald Trump to change the way the game is played yet again.
