For someone who whines incessantly about the need for equal rights and equal wages for women in America — as if they don’t already exist — Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is a giant hypocrite.
A recent investigation by the Washington Free Beacon showed that the senator’s female employees earn only 71 cents for every dollar their male counterparts make. That’s a whopping 8 cents less than the 79-cent wage for women per each dollar for men often ballyhooed by liberals such as herself.
“The median annual earnings for women staffers, $52,750, was more than $20,000 less than the median annual earnings for men, $73,750, according to the analysis of publicly available Senate data,” the Free Beacon reported.
And yet Warren is the same charlatan who shamelessly touted the phony “Equal Pay Day” holiday last year, writing that it was “a national day of embarrassment” for the United States.
#EqualPayDay isn’t a national day of celebration. It’s a national day of embarrassment.

Maybe. But it was certainly a “national day of embarrassment” for feminists like her who say one thing but do another.
Feminists like failed Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, for instance, who “paid women about $15,000 less than men as a senator, then paid women $16,000 less than men as secretary of state, and paid women $7,000 less as a presidential candidate,” according to Breitbart.
The irony is that they wouldn’t be hypocrites if they’d just shut their traps and stop spouting off sham statistics about inequality in America.
As noted by National Review contributor Carrie L. Lukas, managing director and director of policy for the Independent Women’s Forum, feminists often portray data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics displaying the differences in male and female earnings as “evidence of discrimination’s role in our economy.”
“That’s just not what the statistic tells us,” Lukas wrote. “The Department of Labor doesn’t compare two co-workers, one male and one female, but rather simply tallies up the median earnings of all full-time working women and all full-time working men and compares the two.”
When relevant factors such as years of experience, education and specialty are factored into the data, “the wage gap shrinks, leaving just a few percentage points unexplained,” she added.
Despite these facts, which have been broadcast over and over again by conservative media to try to educate the public about the falsehoods of the left’s “war on women” narrative, Warren and those like her have refused to back down from their claims of a 79-cent wage gap.
And now, thanks to both her obstinance and the investigative work of the Washington Free Beacon, everyone has the right to point at Warren and call her a hypocrite.
