The winner keeps on winning.
That’s been the result to date after 23 of Wisconsin’s 72 counties have completed the recount of last month’s presidential election.

The recount was ordered after Green Party candidate Jill Stein, who had to pay $3.5 million to cover Wisconsin’s costs, wanted it undertaken to address unspecified issues that Stein claimed could have been the result of foreign governments hacking the election.
With the recount almost a third of the way towards completion, the only winner in the process has been President-elect Donald Trump, whose 22,871-vote margin over Democrat Hillary Clinton has now grown by 146 votes. In the counties reporting as of Wednesday, Trump gained 105 votes. Clinton lost 45 votes.
The state’s recount has a deadline of Dec. 12. The state needs to certify its election results by Dec. 13 so that Wisconsin’s electoral votes can be cast without any possibility of a challenge when the Electoral College meets on Dec. 19.
Although Stein alleged there were issues with the voting, so far none have been found.
“We’re not finding any problems with the machines,” said Reid Magney, a Wisconsin Elections Commission spokesman. “The Stein campaign wanted a recount because they thought there was some problems with our machines and that was not the case.”
Magney noted that although the totals are changing, there are no significant shifts.
“The overall results will not change,” Magney said. “It’s two votes here, two votes there.”
The Clinton camp, which has been participating in the recount, has said it did not expect the recount to change the results of the election.
Stein sought court orders to force recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania. Although she won a round Monday to start a recount in Michigan, she lost an appeal that stalled the counting until Wednesday, when a hearing has been scheduled.
Stein has sued in federal court to force Pennsylvania to recount its ballots. Recounts undertaken in some parts of the state have shown little, if any, changes in the vote totals.
