Democrats have criticized Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch for failing to answer specific questions about how he might decide cases, but back in 1993, liberals were applauding their own nominee for doing the same thing.
According to GOP The Daily Dose, a video has surfaced showing then-Supreme Court nominee Judge Ruth Bader Ginsberg, a Democrat judge from New York, during her confirmation hearings.
In that video from 1993, then-Delaware Sen. Joe Biden questioned Ginsberg.
“You not only have a right to choose what you answer or not answer, but in my view, you should not answer a question of what your view will be,” the future vice president told Ginsberg with a smile on his face.
Time and time again, Ginsberg responded to questions with a simple “I cannot answer that at this time.” Still, she was confirmed to the Supreme Court that year, during former President Bill Clinton’s administration.
But Judge Gorsuch seems to be getting very different treatment from the Democrats.
It seems as if Democrats forgot about Ginsberg’s 1993 hearing.

The Washington Post documented some comments from Democrat lawmakers who apparently don’t remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s confirmation hearings.
For example, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, openly criticized the Supreme Court nominee.
“You have been very much able to avoid any specificity like no one I have ever seen before,” she sad.
Sen. Patrick J. Leahy tried to catch Gorsuch with a trick question about President Donald Trump
“What vision do you share with President Trump?” Leahy asked.
“Respectfully, none of you speaks for me,” Gorsuch replied. “I am a judge. I am independent. I make up my own mind.”
Isn’t that what we want in a judge?
