WATCH: Video Captures Smugglers Driving Through U.S. Border Fence

Video Captures Smugglers Driving Through US Border Fence

Recent surveillance video footage showed illegal immigrants entering the United States after using a blowtorch to create a makeshift gate in a border fence.

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, the footage was captured in November 2016 on the Mexican border at Douglas, Arizona.

Fox News first shared the video, which showed a handful of people near the gate while multiple vehicles, presumably smugglers of some sort, drove through the 10-foot gap and away.

Watch them break through in the video below:

The video was released after months of President Donald Trump’s pleas to “build the wall” between Mexico and the U.S. in order to keep our country safe.

Fox News spoke with Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, about incidents like these, and he had some harsh words for former President Barack Obama’s administration for its leniency toward illegal immigration.

“We just cannot continue with the same management that we’ve had, which created our problems,” Judd said. “We expect the president to drain the swamp. Ours should be the first one drained. We have to hit the restart button.”

Judd stated his support for a border wall like the one proposed by Trump, as he explained that fences do nothing for border security. “Fences can be defeated,” he noted, explaining how a gate can be cut from the Mexico side and disguised with paint and putty on the U.S. side.

Construction on President Trump’s nearly 2,000-mile-long wall is set to begin in 2017, and the idea continues to draw outrage from liberals. But if this video is any indication of how much America desperately needs national security, then the wall must be built.
