Incoming President Donald Trump loves the troops.
Anyone who ever doubted it should take note of what Trump did after he landed in Washington, D.C., Thursday.
Donald Trump, who has come to the city for his inauguration on Friday, took time to go to Arlington Cemetery with Vice President-elect Mike Pence to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns (sometimes called the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, though it has never been officially designated so).
The two of them with the help of a serviceman laid the wreath to commemorate all of the soldiers whose remains have never been identified.

Viewers were elated.
Donald Trump has yet to take office, and we have yet to see the full weight of his policies coming into effect, but people are hopeful that maybe, just maybe, we will have a president who loves and supports the troops once again.

We certainly need it. When Trump takes office Friday, he will be facing a myriad of problems and opposition not only on domestic issues but foreign policy. When navigating issues on the world stage, our military’s commander-in-chief needs to respect the position he is in, and he certainly does.
America’s military is the best in the world, and it’s wonderful to see an (almost) president take a moment and really acknowledge that.
