SNL Does Ivanka Trump Skit About Perfume Called Complicit

For the better part of the past year, “Saturday Night Live” has been mocking Donald Trump — first as a candidate, now as a president — on a weekly basis.

Some of their material, like the imitations of White House press secretary Sean Spicer, has been genuinely funny. However, it appears that “SNL” has now run out of joke material and is resorting to blatant political attacks on Trump’s family, The Daily Caller reported.

The most recent “SNL” skit was a mock advertisement featuring actress Scarlett Johansson as Ivanka Trump. The “ad” is for a new perfume called “Complicit,” and the entire ad is focused on mocking Ivanka for the role she plays in the Trump administration.

The ad was supposed to be playing off Ivanka’s perfume brand, which has been boycotted by several liberal groups and ironically enough is selling better than ever.

I don’t suppose any feminists are going to point out how sexist this mock ad is. After all, why should they stand up for a Republican woman?

“She’s a woman who knows what she wants and knows what she’s doing,” says a voice-over during the ad while Johansson walks around a room, acting like Ivanka.

“A feminist, an advocate, a champion for women, but like, how? She’s loyal, devoted, but probably should have bounced after the whole ‘Access Hollywood’ bus thing,” the voice-over states.

Rather than focusing on the fact that Ivanka is probably one of the most influential women in America, liberal feminists have chosen to attack her because of her beliefs (even though she supports many of the same ideals that they say they do) and because of her last name.

Attacks like this ridiculous skit show just how uninformed liberals really are, and how desperate they are to remain relevant in an era when Americans are finally starting to see their government work for them because of what Trump is doing.
