Rush Limbaugh Compares Media Support Under Obama Versus Trump

Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh went on national television and revealed the cold, hard truth about the difference between former President Barack Obama’s and President Donald Trump’s time in office.

According to Fox News Insider, Limbaugh appeared on “Fox News Sunday” with Chris Wallace to explain why Trump is being given such a difficult time.

“The media did not make Donald Trump and they can’t destroy him,” Limbaugh said.

“Donald Trump has nobody helping him other than the people who voted for him,” he continued. “Obama had the media. Obama had the judiciary. Obama had all kinds of support.

“I mean, Obama was never challenged seriously by the media. Trump doesn’t have any of that, he’s got to keep his supporters on board, he’s got to keep them revved up,” he stated.

While the media might try to portray all of America as anti-Trump, Limbaugh noted that opinions might change in favor of the president if he just keeps focused on his goal.

Those who voted for President Trump put their hope in him when it came to issues of tax reform, border security and repealing Obamacare.

“That is the primary area where people that voted for Trump felt that we were on our way to losing the country,” Limbaugh explained.

However, in recent days, protests in favor of illegal immigration and refugees have taken the country by storm. In fact, it’s safe to say they have gotten infinitely more coverage than any of President Trump’s executive orders or plans to help the country.

Rush Limbaugh has been one of the country’s most insightful political commentators going back to the first years of the first Clinton administration. He knows the politics, and he knows the media.

When he analyzes the media, he’s usually dead on, and this time was no exception.
