WATCH: Megyn Kelly’s Crew Can’t Contain Laughter After What Harvard Student Says

Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly recently had a Harvard University student on her program to talk about free speech and “safe spaces” on the college campuses. The student, Rachel Huebner, is a psychology major and a writer for the Harvard Crimson newspaper. Kelly had an interesting reaction to Huebner’s news of what has been happening on campus.

Huebner expressed the belief that many people go to college in order to interact with people of different backgrounds with a myriad of unique ideological viewpoints. However, she noted the exact opposite is happening on campuses. Instead, she is seeing a lack of freedom of expression, and viewpoints and beliefs are being stifled.

In an editorial she wrote for the Crimson, Huebner described a conversation she had with some of her peers. “I posed a question about a verse from the Bible. A Harvard employee in the room immediately interjected, informing me that we were in a safe space and I was thus not permitted to discuss the controversial biblical passage,” she wrote.

Huebner described to Kelly an instance where a freshman tried putting an American flag on the wall in his dorm room, but his roommate insisted it be removed because, to him, the flag was offensive and a political statement he wasn’t willing to make.

Kelly could only roll her eyes, and her crew can be heard laughing in the background.

“Can you believe these professors allows this and that these students think they’re going to be able to function in the world?” Kelly asked with a twinged look on her face.

Huebner said she believes that much censorship is perpetuated more by other students than by administrators. Kelly deemed it a form of coddling.
