Fox News contributor Meghan McCain didn’t hold back on how she felt about the Drexel University professor who posted to Twitter that it made him want to “vomit” when he saw a passenger give up first-class airplane seat for a soldier in uniform.
The tweet said: “Some guy gave up his first class seat for a uniformed soldier. People are thanking him. I’m trying not to vomit or yell about Mosul.”
During Fox News’ broadcast of “Outnumbered” on Friday, the co-host expressed outraged over George Ciccariello-Maher’s remarks and said she had a hard time understanding that kind of disrespect.
“I can’t handle disrespect of any kind on any level for the men and women who sacrifice so much,” she said.
“How dare you?! If you don’t like it, go someplace else and see how free it is in the Middle East. Because I’ve been there, and it ain’t so free!” she added.
McCain, daughter of former Republican presidential nominee and Arizona Sen. John McCain, also said if she had a student who attended Drexel University, she would pull him or her out of the school in protest.
Watch McCain’s reaction below:
McCain isn’t the only person who was enraged over Ciccariello-Maher’s comments. Lots of people, including Fox’s own Tucker Carlson tore into the professor for saying something so stupid.
The professor did what most liberals do when they are confronted with an avalanche of logic — he made his Twitter account private.
There is something wrong with anyone who finds him or herself wanting to “vomit” while witnessing a kind gesture toward a soldier in uniform. Americans can disagree with foreign policy all day long, but to be sickened by an act of kindness demonstrates a special kind of hate.
Sadly, these kinds of statements aren’t unusual for Ciccariello-Maher. The Daily Caller reported that in December the professor posted to Twitter that all he wanted for Christmas was “white genocide,” and in 2015, he tweeted “Abolish the White Race.”
Honestly, those are the kinds of racist statements that make people want to vomit.
