Hollywood liberals, and liberals in general, like to complain about just about everything they can imagine. When life doesn’t go their way, they flip out and and start acting like the whole world is collapsing around them.
Actor Denzel Washington had some strong words for the crybaby liberals who have taken over Hollywood. At the end of an interview with “Oscar Roundtables,” Washington blistered Hollywood liberals who think their lives are hard.
“It’s like when people talk about the difficulty of making a movie, and I’m like, send your son to Iraq, that’s difficult,” Washington, who is an Oscar winner, explained.
“It’s just a movie. It’s like relax. I don’t play that precious nonsense. Your son got shot in the face. That’s difficult. Making a movie is a luxury. It’s a gift, it’s an opportunity, and most importantly it’s a gift,” he stated.
Washington is absolutely correct. People in Hollywood have no idea what average Americans go through every day. They don’t know what it’s like to worry about paying off the car loan, see your kids through college or worry that you might lose your job because of government regulations.
This speech could also be extended to people like Meryl Streep who seem to think that just because President-elect Donald Trump won the election, their lives are over.
Streep can go on stage, spout off a bunch of liberal nonsense and then pat herself on the back, but she has no idea what real pain and suffering are like.
Just because your favorite candidate lost doesn’t mean your world is dead and life is meaningless. Real tragedies happen to people every day. Thousands of families have lost sons and daughters over the past decade because of the wars in the Middle East. Streep hasn’t.
Those families know what real misery is like. Streep and the rest of her Hollywood ilk should just shut their mouths and stop pretending they’re in touch with ordinary reality.
