A whiny and unrepentant illegal immigrant activist who thought that listening to President Donald Trump take aim at illegals constituted a “tough day” learned from an expert Wednesday what a genuinely “tough day” feels like.
“I don’t know if you understand what a ‘tough day’ is in the life of a parent who’s lost a child at the hands of an illegal in this country,” Laura Wilkerson, a Texan whose son was murdered by an illegal immigrant seven years ago, told activist Jose Antonio Vargas on Fox News.
“You’re legal or illegal — it’s one way or the other,” she added while he shamelessly smirked. “There’s no ‘gray area.’”
And there were no ifs, ands or buts about it: Vargas was illegal, as was the man who had murdered Wilkerson’s son.
In fact the killer, Hermilo Moralez, was more than just an illegal immigrant. Because he was brought to the U.S. at the age of 10, he had been eligible for then-President Barack Obama’s Dream Act, according to Breitbart.
He, like millions of other undeserving criminals, was a potential beneficiary of a program that would have granted him conditional residency had he not first murdered Wilkerson’s son.
Watch the full back-and-forth below:
“You’ve had plenty of time in this country to get in line, come in the front door … and we don’t have to make any excuses for that,” Wilkerson continued. “We have to do nothing for the illegal here. They need to come in and come in through the front there. There is a process, and it needs to be ongoing and enforced.”
She was right, though Vargas stubbornly refused to acknowledge her points, arguing instead that illegal immigrants were a boon for the economy.
He had also once claimed that America’s immigration laws were equivalent to Jim Crow laws.
Take a look at this tweet:
Yes, law exists. That’s why I outed myself. To expose the system. But law doesn’t always equal justice–ie, Jim Crow https://t.co/Hk58FmbFdH

It seemed clear that no amount of logic and sense could penetrate this man’s thick skull. Emboldened by Obama and the liberal media, he had developed a victim complex according to which he viewed himself and his illegal peers as victims of an allegedly unjust system.
There was just one problem with this line of thinking: He and his peers were the bad guys, not the victims.
