All during the election season, liberals tried unsuccessfully to convince America that GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump was a bully. Now that he’s been elected, they’re trying to bully the electors who are scheduled to vote for him, even resorting to death threats.

However, one Texas elector has the best three-word answer possible to those who would threaten his life: “Go to hell.”

Alex Kim, an elector from Texas’ 24th Congressional District, talked to KXAS-TV about the treatment he had received from liberals since Trump’s election on Nov. 8.

“At first everyone was kinda enchanted by it,” Kim told the station. “Now all the electors are starting to get beaten down. There are some electors who have been threatened with harm or with death.”

The Electoral College is supposed to be a formality. However, according to Politico, “a half-dozen Democratic electors … mostly former Bernie Sanders supporters who hail from Washington state and Colorado, are now lobbying their Republican counterparts in other states to reject their oaths — and in some cases, state law — to vote against Trump when the Electoral College meets on Dec. 19.”

In Texas, state law does not forbid “faithless electors” — electors who vote for a candidate other than the one who won the state. The Hill reported that while liberals would need to change the votes of 37 electors, the most faithless electors in any election were six who defected from James Monroe in 1808. (He still won.)

“Usually the Electoral College is very ceremonial. You’re there, you cast your vote and you’re done,” Kim said. “I had no idea it would be like this.”

However, don’t expect any bullying liberals to change his vote.

“When people ask me to vote for Hillary Clinton, there’s no way,” Kim said. “I reject the Democratic Party principles and I reject Hillary Clinton.”

He also shared his perfect response whenever someone tries to push him around.

“You may all go to hell, and I shall go to Texas,” Kim said. “If it was good enough for Davy Crockett, then it’s good enough for me.”

Our hats are off to you, sir. And given where you’re from, we may as well make them ten-gallon hats.
