Professional golfer Tiger Woods spent some time on the golf course with President-elect Donald Trump, and he set the record straight about the future president’s game.
The two played a round on Dec. 23 at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Today reported.
Woods, 40, wrote about the experience on his blog, writing that the two played for fun.
“What most impressed me was how far he hits the ball at 70 years old. He takes a pretty good lash,” Woods wrote. Trump has taken some criticism for his golf game over the years, but it looks like that criticism might be unfounded.
Woods said the two men discussed a wide range of topics while they were on the course.
“We both enjoyed the bantering, bickering and needling. I also shared my vision for golf and what I’m trying to do,” Woods said.
Woods added that he has also played golf with Presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. He also said he appreciated the opportunity to be able to golf with them.
Woods added that he was given some “Make Tiger Great Again” shirts at the Ryder Cup by golfers on the U.S. team earlier in the year — a reference to how much Woods’ fans want to see him return to golf.
Woods did mention his future in the blog, and he said that his goal for the new year was to win, adding that winning takes care of itself.
It looks like he and Trump share a common goal of winning.
