Texan Finds Sick Child Exploitation on Borrowed Computer

A Texas man made a sickening discovery when he borrowed his neighbor’s computer.

The young man, who was not identified, was repairing his computer when he asked his neighbor, Joe Garza Jr., if he could borrow Garza’s computer.

When he turned the machine on, he saw a folder and opened it up. That’s when he saw nude photographs of his 10-year-old sister, according to Fort Worth Officer Domingo Martinez, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.

The man returned the computer to Garza and told his parents what he discovered. The girl’s parents later confronted Garza about the images.

Martinez said the parents talked with Garza for two hours.

“I don’t know if he openly admitted it but he said he has a problem and asked her not to call the police and that he would disappear and not come back,” he said.

Apparently, that was not a suitable solution. Like any normal parents would, they made sure the police were notified. Garza was at the family’s home when law enforcement arrived.

The Star-Telegram reported that Garza then admitted to Martinez that he had taken the pictures and molested the girl. He also admitted to molesting the girl’s older sister, which the sister confirmed, according to an arrest affadavit cited by the newspaper reported.

A search of Garza’s computer showed he had photographs and videos of both of the girls, the affidavit revealed.

In one of the videos, a girl authorities believed to be the older sister was seen hanging upside down from what appeared to be a white rope. A search of Garza’s home revealed a “wooden swinglike contraption with white rope hanging from a rafter in the dining room,” according to the affidavit.

Talk about sick.

Garza, 65, was arrested on March 3 for possession of child pornography. He was also charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child for his alleged molestation of the girl, according to the Star-Telegram. He was being held at the Tarrant County Jail on $145,000 bond.

The Star-Telegram said investigators suspected there could be other victims.

Let’s hope they lock this creep up for a long, long time.
