The father was under the impression that his daughter could ride for free because when he booked the ticket, the girl was one year old. However, she had turned 2 in January, and at the time of departure, the man couldn’t afford to pay the inflated last-minute ticket price.
A woman behind him, a business executive, paid for the $749 ticket on his behalf out of the goodness of her heart.
That woman has since been identified as Debbie Bolton, co-founder of Norwex, a cleaning-products company.

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, Bolton was on her way home from an out-of-town business trip in Omaha, Nebraska, when she decided to help a complete stranger.
This near-unbelievable act of kindness was first reported on the Facebook page Love What Matters, and the story has gotten hundreds of thousands of combined likes, shares and comments.
“This woman needs to be commended,” the author wrote. When the father discovered he was stuck in a horrible situation, “He was hit with emotion. He mentioned he couldn’t afford to re-book this flight or get her the ticket with such short notice. He stepped aside and tried to make a few calls.”
“Hugging his daughter and grabbing his head, you could tell he was heartbroken,” the post continued. “This woman next to him at the front counter heard the whole thing. She walked over to him and asked what was wrong. After they talked for a bit they walked up to the counter together.”
“She pointed back at his daughter and said, ‘I wanna buy her ticket,’” the post stated.
And she did.
“The agent kept talking about her goosebumps while the man hugged the woman and asked for her name to repay her,” wrote the author. “The woman just kept saying, ‘Don’t worry about it.’ She knew she wanted to help that man and his daughter no matter what the cost.”
