Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton mocked Michael Flynn following his resignation as national security adviser with a tweet about “the real consequences of fake news.”
The twice failed Democratic presidential candidate shared a tweet in which her former aide Phillipe Reines gloats about Flynn leaving his post.
“Dear Mike Flynn & Mike Flynn Jr, What goes around COMETS around. And given your pizza obsession,” Reines wrote.
Reines included a link to a Domino’s Pizza job listing in his tweet.

Clinton trolled Flynn in another tweet.
“Philippe’s got his own way of saying things, but he has a point about the real consequences of fake news.”

Clinton and Reine’s tweets are in reference to Flynn Jr’s tweet about #Pizzagate, Clinton’s alleged ties to Comet Ping Pong Pizza, a Washington pizza restaurant that is purported to be at the center of a network of Satanists and pedophiles.
Pizzagate began when WikiLeaks started to release emails that proved Comet Ping Pong owner James Alefantis had links to Clinton and Clinton campaign manager and longtime friend John Podesta.
Flynn Jr. lost his job as a Trump aide after proclaiming in a tweet that the allegations surrounding Clinton’s ties to the alleged sex trafficking ring should not be overlooked.

@HillaryClinton The real consequences for you, is that you’re going to jail for child trafficking, as are all your friends who are involved.

Following reports that he misled Vice President Mike Pence and other officials of the Trump administration about his contacts with Russia, Flynn resigned late Monday night.
Flynn said in a resignation letter that he held numerous calls with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. during the transition and gave “incomplete information” about those discussions to Pence.
President Donald Trump has named retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who has been Flynn’s chief of staff on the National Security Council, to serve as acting national security adviser.
