Caitlyn Jenner, the transgender Olympic and reality TV star who once tendered his support to President Donald Trump, went after him in a Twitter video after the Trump administration overturned an Obama administration “guidance” on transgender bathrooms.
The guidance, according to NBC News, had used Title IX to demand that schools open up bathroom choice based on whatever gender a student identified as. The Trump administration has claimed that Title IX only protects students based on biological sex, not gender identification, and that the issue belongs to the states.
Jenner posted a video on Twitter Thursday, condemning the president and saying “we’ll see you in court.”
“I have a message for the trans kids of America,” Jenner began. “You’re winning. I know it doesn’t feel like it today or every day, but you’re winning.
“Very soon, we will win full freedom nationwide, and it will be with full bipartisan support,” he continued.
“Now I have a message for the bullies: You’re sick,” Jenner said, showing the typical liberal tolerance for those who disagree with him. “And because you’re weak and you pick on kids, you pick on women or anyone else you think is vulnerable. Apparently, even becoming the attorney general isn’t enough to cure some people of their insecurity.”
Yes, apparently, interpreting a law (Title IX) as it was originally written and passed makes you a bully. Who knew?
Jenner then mentioned a Title IX case that’s about to come before the Supreme Court involving a transgender student who was robbed of his or her “right” to use the bathroom of their choice. “Mr. President, we’ll see you in court,” Jenner said.

The extension of Title IX to a conception of gender beyond one strictly based on biology is mostly an invention of the Obama administration, which pushed it heavily as their time in Washington came to a close. No legal interpretation of the statute for the 44 years it’s been on the books has found this right anywhere in the nooks and crannies of its language. Yet now, it’s an inviolable tenet of liberal philosophy.
Transgender bathroom policy, like all government policy, is best decided at the most local level possible, where administrators know the needs of their students and communities. Nobody — and I repeat, nobody — is calling for the bullying of any individual based on how they identify themselves.
But this is the liberal line. Any opposition to them is “bullying,” which means they can call you “sick” and intimate that whatever opposition you have to federalizing transgender bathroom access is based on “insecurities,” wink wink. That may sound like actual bullying, but it’s not. It’s liberation!
Whatever. See you in court, indeed.
