Rosie O’Donnnell described Donald Trump as “mentally unstable” in a tweet on Sunday and warned there are less than three weeks to stop him.
The former co-host of The View linked a CNN story about President-elect Trump asking biographer Harry Hurt III to leave the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Fla. on Friday.

Hurt published a biography of Trump in 1993, which was republished in 2016, entitled Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump.
The book contained reporting that Trump’s first wife Ivana had accused the real estate developer of rape in court documents obtained from their 1992 divorce.
“Trump adamantly denies the charge, and Ivana has said while she felt ‘violated’ during their marriage, she didn’t intend her accusation to be taken in ‘a literal or criminal sense,’” CNN reported.
When the issue came up during the campaign, Ivana indicated her remarks were made in the throes of a divorce and added she felt her former husband would make an outstanding president.
According to Hurt in a Facebook post he wrote Saturday, he had gone over to offer his congratulations to Trump at the golf course on Friday.
The president-elect said, “You were rough on me, Harry. Really rough. That s— you wrote.”
Hurt replied, “It is all true.”
“Not the way you wrote it,” Trump responded.
The president-elect stated that it was “inappropriate” for the biographer to be there and asked him to leave.
John Damgard, a Republican donor who was with Hurt, told CNN that “Obviously [the biography] was something [Trump] didn’t like. It is his golf course and it certainly it is his right” to remove a player.
O’Donnell tweeted or retweeted a series of other posts on Sunday calling Trump “the world’s worst human” and “mentally ill.”
As reported by Western Journalism, the 54-year-old went on a profanity-laced tirade against Trump last spring before a Boy George and Cyndi Lauper concert in New York City saying she was “depressed because I f—ing hate that orange piece of sh–.”
The feud between Trump and O’Donnell dates back to 2006, when she criticized him on The View for giving Miss USA Tara Conner an opportunity to redeem herself after revelations of drug use, underage drinking and sexual activities.
“I’ve always been a believer in second chances. Tara is a good person. Tara has tried hard. Tara is going to be given a second chance,” he said. Conner went into rehab and kept her crown.
O’Donnell described Trump as a “snake-oil salesman.”
“This is not a self-made man,” the host charged, saying that he has gone bankrupt. Further, he lacks the “moral compass” to be commenting one way or the other about Conner,” O’Donnell said. “Sit and spin, my friend.”
The businessman shot back, telling People that O’Donnell is a “real loser” and “a woman out of control.”
The barbs continued back and forth for the next several years, which then became the subject, in part, of a question Fox News’ Megyn Kelly asked at the first Republican presidential debate in August 2015.
Her query began: “You’ve called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs’ and ‘disgusting animals.’” Only Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump interjected, which ranked as one of the top laugh lines of the evening among the audience.
