Pilot Uses Plane To Sky Write Trump Amid Anti-Trump Protests

The ability to be sore losers knows no national boundaries, apparently. When President Donald Trump won the election over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, protesters around the country began organizing to show their displeasure on Trump’s inauguration day.

Unbeknownst to most Americans, they were also doing it around the world, too.

Take Sydney, Australia, where The Daily Telegraph reported that an estimated 3,000 people marched Saturday to let the world know where they stood. Unfortunately for them, a group of Trump supporters also wanted the world to know — and they decided an easier way to let people know how they felt was to write it in the sky above the rally.

Take a look at this:

According to The U.K. Guardian, the skywriting was commissioned by a group of Australian Trump supporters who wished to remain anonymous. They paid $4,000 for the skywriting to appear above the protest.

Some protesters posted pictures of themselves giving the finger to the “Trump” skywriting on Twitter, while others simply commented on it in profanity-laced tweet tirades (which I refuse to post here, due to the fact that toxic liberal social media rampages can kill as many brain cells as huffing industrial-strength solvents).

The Guardian reported that the march was not just about Trump but was “to be viewed as anti-hatred, anti-bigotry and anti-misogyny, and intended to empower marginalised groups.”

The Telegraph reported that protesters shouted down counterprotesters by chanting ““racist scum off our streets,” which may sound a bit like marginalizing those whose opinions don’t agree with yours. If it does, um, you should really check your privilege and engage in radical intersectionality, or something like that. (I can never get this lingo down.)

They also reported that signs spotted at the event included “I am nasty woman hear me roar” and “women’s right are human rights.” It’s kind of sad when someone writing with a plane has better grammar than someone writing with a pen.
