Man Snaps Pic Of Wife On The Beach Stunned by What Else It Caught

Camera phones — which barely existed even a decade ago — are awesome in so many ways. We can take pictures quickly and easily and share them with the world instantly.

Sometimes, something sneaks into a photograph unexpectedly and that’s exactly what happened when Dan Mozer began taking pictures of his wife on Atlantic Beach, Florida.

Mozer’s nine-month pregnant wife, Angeline was posing by the oceanfront last month while her husband took pictures. You can image his surprise when he realized he also captured a dolphin jumping out of the water in the background in what may have been the world’s greatest photobomb.

Mozer sent the pictures to WJXT, which shared them on its Instagram account. Take a look:

Mozer took several pictures of his wife and the progression of the dolphin jumping out of the water couldn’t have been timed more perfectly.

“Someone started yelling to us that there were dolphins, and we could see their dorsal fins,” Mozer, 30, told Yahoo Parenting. His intent was to maybe get some shots of the fins, not a dolphin leaping out of the ocean.

“Then, out of nowhere, this thing just jumps out of the water,” Mozer said of the experience. “When I took it, I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’ Unfortunately, she totally missed it.”

“The dolphin actually jumped twice, but I liked the first jump picture best,” Dan said. “How quickly I forget how magical a dolphin jumping out of the water is! Now I’m picking my favorite jump!”

Magical, indeed. This is one of the best photobombs I’ve seen in a while:

Mozer’s due date was Jan. 27 and we wish her and her new baby boy, whom the couple decided to name Courtland Thomas, all the best.
