A Saudi prince is being held by Los Angeles police after he allegedly sexually assaulted an employee in his Beverly Glen compound. Even worse, other women have come forward to accuse the prince in a series of sexual assaults over the past week.
Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud, a 28-year-old member of the house of Saud, was arrested Wednesday and charged with forced oral copulation of an adult. More than 20 people were led out of the prince’s rented $37 million estate, the inside of which police described as having a “party atmosphere.”
According to the Los Angeles Times, the incident began when neighbors noticed a bleeding woman trying to scale the 8-foot wall that surrounds the compound. The police were called, and Al-Saud was taken into custody at about 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Saud, who does not have diplomatic immunity, was booked on suspicion of false imprisonment, sexual assault and battery. He was charged with forced oral copulation on the woman, who was an employee in the residence, and released on $300,000 bail later that day.
That wasn’t the end of the prince’s troubles, though. In L.A. County Superior Court on Friday, three unidentified women filed suit against the prince for sexual assaults they say took place beginning on Monday.
The lawsuit claims that the prince’s “extreme,” “outrageous,” and “despicable” behavior took place for days on end, and involved abuse of staff and retribution against those who didn’t acquiesce to his wishes.
According to the U.K. Daily Mail, after Al-Saud got out on bail, he was busy packing up and skipping town.
“Numerous cars were coming in and out of the property late Thursday, and it looked like the Prince was moving out,” one of his neighbors said.
Eric Stiskin, another neighbor, said, “‘I am sure he has taken off on his private jet by now. I don’t think he even needs a passport to get out of here.”
So, let’s get this straight. Kim Davis, an ordinary Kentucky county clerk, denies a marriage license to a same-sex couple. She’s held without bail in spite of not being a danger to anyone.
A Saudi prince, with massive wealth, is accused of being a serial rapist. He’s let go on a mere $300,000 bail, in spite of the fact that he’s a massive flight risk and a serious danger to the community.
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Obama’s America.
