Navy SEALs Feed Conveniently Cut Off During CNN Interview

It’s no secret that CNN’s remote feeds just so happen to cut out at the darndest times. Usually, it happens when a conservative is making a good point. I guess high-tech broadcast equipment just happens to have a liberal bias.

The mysterious feed-cutting happened again on Monday. Republican Virginia Rep. Scott Taylor, on the network to discuss President Trump’s newly reissued temporary travel restrictions, had his feed mysteriously drop after he cited an FBI statistic CNN probably didn’t want to hear.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Taylor — a former Navy SEAL sniper who served in the Iraq war — supported Trump’s plan using the new information that refugees made up roughly 30 percent of the domestic terrorism cases under investigation by the FBI.

“Just today, the FBI comes out and says that 30 percent, 30 percent, of their domestic terrorism cases that they’re investigating are from folks who are refugees,” Taylor said. “It’s important not to label all refugees bad people, that’s not why I’m here, but –“

And then the test pattern and its familiar bleep came and Taylor’s feed was cut out.

“I was just going to say, congressman, it’s time to go, but I think the TV gremlins did that for us,” host Dana Bash said while smiling.

Taylor was referring to a statistic confirmed Monday morning which stated that at least 300 of the 1,000 counterterrorism cases the FBI is working on involve individuals who are refugees.

“(M)]ore than 300 people who came here as refugees are under FBI investigation for potential terrorism-related activities,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday morning, according to CBS News. He added that those “seeking to support or commit terrorist attacks here will try to enter through our refugee program.”

I hate to give credence to conspiracy theories about CNN and it’s feed-cutting, but let’s face it: This isn’t the first time this has happened to the network (or the second, or the third … ).

While I don’t watch CNN 24 hours a day (“Road House” comes on TV occasionally, after all), these feed cuts always seem to happen when a guest says something that affirms the conservative position in some way. That seems unusual.

If these are random cuts, here’s my advice to you, CNN: It’s 2017. This shouldn’t be happening so often. Buy better equipment. And maybe some better journalists while you’re at it.
