Member Of Obama’s Family To Attend Final Debate As Trump’s Guest

After inviting three of former President Bill Clinton’s sexual accusers to the second presidential debate, Republican nominee Donald Trump has upped the ante, inviting President Obama’s half-brother, Malik Obama.

“I’m excited to be at the debate,” Malik Obama told the New York Post. “Trump can make America great again.”

The reasoning behind this move is clear: Malik Obama is a strong Trump supporter.

“I like Donald Trump because he speaks from the heart,” he said. “‘Make America Great Again’ is a great slogan. I would like to meet him.”

He will soon get that chance.

“I look very much forward to meeting and being with Malik,” Trump said. “He gets it far better than his brother.”

Malik Obama said foreign policy missteps and social concerns have led him away from the Democratic Party and toward the Republican side.

He has also voiced his dislike of the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, citing her scandals and dishonesty, which he says have only gotten worse since he originally voiced his support for Trump.

“I don’t like [Hillary] Clinton,” Malik said in September, in spite of his half-brother’s vivacious endorsement. “She is dishonest and a liar. She keeps on lying about emails every time.”

President Obama’s endorsement of Clinton came after he said in a 2008 campaign ad that she would “say everything and change nothing.”

Malik Obama also pointed to Clinton’s performance as secretary of state, saying she inflamed chaos and violence in the Middle East. Many have agreed.

He also said he had respect for former Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi and that the two had been good friends.

“Check out the situation in Libya now,” Obama said.

President Obama has called the U.S. intervention in Libya the “worst mistake” of his presidency.

While Malik Obama is not a U.S. citizen and will not cast a vote in November’s election, Trump likely hopes his presence at the debate will make a strong statement. The GOP nominee also invited Patricia Smith, the mother of 2012 Benghazi terror attack victim Sean Smith, and she accepted.

The final presidential debate is Wednesday in Las Vegas and will be moderated by Fox News host Chris Wallace.
