Melania Trump Has an Important Message for Women Brutalized by Shariah Law

On Wednesday, First Lady Melania Trump gave a rare public speech at the 2017 International Women of Courage award ceremony where she offered remarks before handing out the awards to women from around the world.

In her speech, Trump celebrated all that women have accomplished, but reminded the world that there was still work to be done — work that the Trump administration would do to help women everywhere.

“Together, we must declare that the era of allowing the brutality against women and children is over, while affirming that the time for empowering around the world is now,” Trump stated.

While she didn’t say it explicitly, this line was a rebuke of the way women are treated under Shariah law in some Middle Eastern countries, as well as anywhere else where women are routinely abused.

“For wherever women are diminished, the entire world is diminished with them. However, wherever women are empowered, towns and villages, schools and economies, are empowered, and together we are all made stronger with them,” she stated.

Trump gave the sort of speech that should have made feminists happy, but of course it barely got any real coverage in the liberal media. After all, why would they want to point out that President Donald Trump’s wife said positive things about women?

“We must continually (revere) our American values as we join with the international community to make our world safer through acts of collaborative and individual bravery,” Trump concluded.

President Trump has vowed to do what he can to ensure that women in America have everything they need to succeed in the workforce and to help make this world a better place.

Despite what many liberals have said about him, Trump does care about equality, and he is apparently prepared to what is needed to ensure that America is a land where everyone, regardless of their gender, can succeed.
