Kwanzaa Was Created by a Black Nationalist Who Tortured Naked Women

Given the increasing aversion to all things Christ- or Christmas-related on the part of some liberals, many American students have likely been learning about Kwanzaa in the liberal-dominated public schools, instead of the history and true meaning of Christmas.

For those who may be unaware, the official Kwanzaa website describes the holiday as a “pan-African” celebration of family, community and culture, to be observed from Dec. 26 through Jan. 1.

Taken from a Swahili phrase meaning “first fruits,” Kwanzaa has its roots in the harvest celebrations of ancient and historical African cultures and civilizations.

But the current Afro-centric holiday is actually a relatively new concoction, devised in 1966 by Ronald Everett, who called himself Maulana Ndabezitha Karanga and whose sordid past has most assuredly not been part of any Kwanzaa lesson plan in public schools, according to The Daily Caller.

Karanga, whose Swahili name means “master teacher” and “keeper of tradition,” is a professor of African studies at California State University in Long Beach, though his academic role is a far cry from the black nationalist cult and criminal organization he founded and led in the 1960s.

Known as the United Slaves Organization, Karanga’s group stood accused of committing numerous assaults and even murders, with Karanga himself serving time in prison following a conviction for torturing two female members of the cult that he accused of covertly trying to kill him, according to Front Page Mag.

In his 1971 trial, it was revealed that Karanga had beaten the women with electrical cords, burned them with soldering irons, tortured them with water hoses and even threatened them with death at gunpoint. He was declared “both paranoid and schizophrenic” by a psychiatrist in court, and was sentenced to up to ten years in prison, a sentence cut short after only four years when he was granted an early parole in 1975.

As to his “secular, non-religious, pan-African holiday,” it is taught that the key principles are: “(U)nity, self-determination, collective work, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith in ourselves.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, those principles are nearly identical to the ones held by the radical Marxist criminal/terrorist organization known as the Symbionese Liberation Army, which wreaked havoc with numerous assaults, robberies and murders in the mid-70s and was most noted for kidnapping newspaper heiress Patty Hearst in 1974.

Thus, we see that the Kwanzaa holiday that some liberals would prefer be more widely celebrated than Christmas was actually the idea of a violent black nationalist Marxist who was declared “paranoid and schizophrenic” by a court and is a convicted felon.
