Huckabee Tells Current, Former First Ladies To Stop Whining

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has heard enough whining from a pair of first ladies, and suggested on Saturday they both face reality.

Huckabee, appearing Saturday on Fox & Friends Weekend, made it clear he has heard enough about the FBI or Russia sinking the candidacy of former first lady Hillary Clinton.

“If you lose, you don’t go out and blame everybody in sight. You go out and suck it up and you accept it,” Huckabee said.

He also had a suggestion for Clinton.

“If Hillary would like to spend about $4, she could go down to Walgreens and buy a mirror. Look in it Hillary — that’s why you lost,” Huckabee said.

“You don’t even have to take a million-dollar poll and check with a thousand people. It’s that simple.”

Huckabee also had harsh words for first lady Michelle Obama who said she and others now know what “not having hope feels like” in light of President-elect Donald Trump’s victory.

“With all due respect… I thought when I came up (to Washington) yesterday that I needed to take shots to make sure I don’t get infected with whatever it is gets into people when they are completely out of touch with reality,” Huckabee said.

Huckabee noted that since Trump’s election on Nov. 8, Wall Street has exploded with confidence, Trump has saved jobs in Indiana and there is “a real sense of optimism.”

“They really need to get out more — not to Hawaii,” Huckabee said.

Huckabee suggested the Obamas, instead, should speak with coal miners and service industry employees to understand what Trump’s election means for those longing for jobs and hope that the Obama administration never provided.

“I’m just stunned when I hear her say that,” he said.
