Hillary Staffer Turns on Huma for Sharing Limelight

Anybody who has paid even the slightest bit of attention to failed Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton should be also aware of her close aide and personal friend, Huma Abedin, as she has been nearly inseparable from Clinton for the past 20 years.

While Abedin has certainly basked in the successes enjoyed by Clinton over the years, it seems as though she is also taking at least some of the blame for the recent election failure that overshadows any previous success. Her ties to Clinton’s scandals certainly don’t help in that regard.

According to an in-depth piece from Vanity Fair, the “knives” are reportedly out for Abedin from fellow Clinton staffers who see her as as part of the reason for Clinton’s electoral debacle.

“Maybe I’m just pissed off, but I really don’t give a s*** about what happens to Huma, to be honest with you,” stated one unnamed senior adviser to the Clinton campaign regarding questions about what may be in store for Abedin now that a prominent role in the White House is out of the picture for her.

That top staffer recounted a moment in the days following Clinton’s defeat when Abedin joined her boss and friend along a rope line to greet and console disappointed supporters, suggesting that it wasn’t an appropriate place for her to be.

“You’re staff, OK?” the adviser said. “Staff is staff. You’re not a principal.”

But Abedin has literally been by Clinton’s side for two decades, from serving as an intern in the Bill Clinton White House to being an aide during Hillary Clinton’s Senate days to serving as a top adviser in her presidential runs and as a top deputy in the State Department, at the same time seemingly filling the role of “adviser, best friend, confidante” and even as a sort of surrogate daughter.

But in doing so, Abedin may have become too enamored of the limelight, which could very well have sparked some resentment among lesser known members of Clinton’s team, as reported by Zero Hedge.

“She was enjoying the red carpet and enjoying the photo spreads much too much in my opinion,” a Clinton insider stated. “She enjoyed being a celebrity too much.”

There were also concerns that, rather than open up the “inner circle” around Clinton in the waning days of the campaign, the circle instead tightened upon itself, with other, perhaps more helpful voices being shut out to the detriment of her campaign.
