President-elect Donald Trump has promised to go into Washington D.C. and shake things up in all sectors of government — especially the area of foreign policy, where Trump often remarks that we are losing badly to other nations of the world.
“A very considerable president.”
“Donald Trump is a phenomenon that foreign countries haven’t seen, so it is a shocking experience to them that he came into office,” Kissinger explained in an interview with “Face the Nation.” “At the same time [it’s an] extraordinary opportunity and I believe he has the possibility of going down in history as a very considerable president.”
Trump campaigned on promises to stop making horrible deals, be tough on America’s enemies, to rebuild our military and to be cautious about where and when we use our military force.
Politico noted that Kissinger stated that this “phenomenon” could bring real change to the world stage.

For the past eight years we have had to deal with President Barack Obama’s personal brand of incompetence on the foreign policy stage. Now, we have a president who knows how to negotiate, and respects the American military.
Hopefully over the next four, or eight, years, Trump can begin to undo the vast amounts of damage caused by President Obama, and return America to its rightful place as the leader of the free world.
