For years, liberals have insisted that anyone who regularly watches Fox News is completely racist — despite a shocking lack of evidence to back up their claims.
Liberals may need to seriously rethink their definition of “racist” as generous donations from Fox News viewers helped send a historically black college’s band to President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, Fox News reported.
Dr. Billy C. Hawkins, president of Talladega College, stated that after he appeared on Bill O’Reilly’s “O’Reilly Factor” the donations to help the “Marching Tornadoes” take part in the inaugural parade jumped way up.
There is no way to prove that everyone who donated after the O’Reilly interview was a Fox News viewer, but it’s highly likely that many Fox News viewers saw the interview and chipped in to help out.
Since the interview last week, the Marching Tornadoes have raised an additional $300,000, more than enough to send them to the inauguration.
“The closer we get to Friday, the more excited I become,” Hawkins stated.
Newsmax noted that many of the people who donated to the band on their GoFundMe page praised the band’s courage and their “American spirit.”
As of Monday morning, the band had raised more than $420,000 of its original $75,000 goal, according to its GoFundMe page. Any money that is left over after the band travels to the inauguration will be used for new uniforms and transportation to future events, Hawkins stated.
Of course, you don’t see CNN or MSNBC covering this story. That would mean admitting that the people who watch Fox News are actually patriots who love this country and will help out people regardless of their skin color.
This band wants to take part in an historic moment on Jan. 20, and the amazing folks who watch Fox News helped make that happen.
