RNC Reportedly Plans to Halt Work on Trump’s “Victory” Project
The Republican National Committee may be making moves to pull their support for Donald Trump in the form of their Victory Project, which supports their Republican nominee.
The Hill reports:
An email obtained by Politico appears to show the RNC ordering a Victory program mail vendor to place an indefinite hold on all projects.
“Please put a hold/stop on all mail projects right now,” reads the email from RNC staffer Lauren Toomey, according to Politico. “If something is in production or print it needs to stop. Will update you when to proceed.”
RNC lawyers have reportedly gathered on Saturday to examine legal options should it become necessary to remove Trump from the GOP ticket.
This is HUGE and HISTORIC news.
How does the Republican National Committee pull support for the GOP nominee?
Any individual group willing to call themselves Republicans better be prepared to explain themselves when they betray a Republican candidate.
But the Republican National Committee isn’t a small, newly formed group headed by few people ready and willing to take on a schism.
The RNC has long maintained, “Vote GOP.” So why pull Trump’s Victory Project?
And pulling Trump from the GOP ticket? What’s the RNC afraid of?
Shouldn’t the vastness of Trump’s support across the country speak for itself that the people have fairly chosen their Republican candidate?
