Now that the FBI has re-opened the criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information on her email server, it’s even more important to highlight one particular lie that both Cheryl Mills and Hillary Clinton told the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

As documented by The Daily Caller, Mills, as Clinton’s personal attorney, claimed that she was unaware that Hillary had her own personal email server until the legal problems began. They quote LawNewz:

However, Mills could not claim attorney-client privilege covered information she learned during her time as Clinton’s Chief of Staff.  So, as Shannen Coffin, a former DOJ attorney, recently explained in an article at the Weekly Standard, “To fix that problem, Mills conveniently claimed that she did not know anything about Clinton’s email setup during her tenure at the State Department and only learned of relevant facts in her later capacity as Mrs. Clinton’s personal lawyer.”

For example, during the FOIA deposition, Mills was asked a question about why Clinton started using the clintonemail.com system.  Her attorney objected to question, saying that was also covered by attorney-client privilege.

“[Mills] — she learned this — refreshed her recollection — when she was acting as the Secretary’s lawyer, producing documents to the State Department,” Wilkinson said.

The problem is that Cheryl Mills didn’t produce any documents to the State Department until March 18, 2015, but nobody knew about the existence of the classified intelligence on her server until July 24. Hillary didn’t even turn her server over to the FBI until August 12.

Oops.

Then there’s this:

An email dated March 7 that proves that Mills was very clearly aware of Hillary’s personal email server:

From: cheryl.mills@gmail.com

To: john.podesta@gmail.com

Date: 2015-03-07 21:41

Subject: Fwd: POTUS on HRC emails

we need to clean this up – he has emails from her – they do not say state.gov

Not only does the email prove that both Clinton AND Cheryl Mills lied to the FBI but highlights the questions they actually tried to evade. LawNews again:

For example, during the FOIA deposition, Mills was asked a question about why Clinton started using the clintonemail.com system. Her attorney objected to question, saying that was also covered by attorney-client privilege.

“[Mills] — she learned this — refreshed her recollection — when she was acting as the Secretary’s lawyer, producing documents to the State Department,” Wilkinson said.

This is just another perfect example of why the FBI is completely right in re-opening the investigation into Hillary’s server.

What other lies await?

Hopefully we’ll see within the next six days.
