BREAKING: Hours Before Polls Close, Rape Allegation Sends Hillary Into Tailspin

Mere hours before voting began in earnest, Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign was dealt a devastating blow to the prevailing narrative against Republican rival Donald Trump when one of his accusers abruptly withdrew her allegations against him.

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, that anonymous accuser, who went by the pseudonym “Katie Johnson,” alleged that Trump had raped her when she was only 13-years-old.

Though the sordid and uncorroborated accusation didn’t get a ton of play with the mainstream press, far-left alternative media outlets had a field day with it and pushed it rather heavily on social media, no doubt with the quiet backing of the Clinton campaign and the media establishment.

But the woman’s civil suit against Trump was dropped with no notice Friday, and it now appears that her entire tale could very well have been fabricated from the very beginning, as she has absolutely zero evidence for her claims.

An individual with inside knowledge of the civil suit told the Daily Mail: “Katie Johnson’s account had been believable and compelling right up until the last minute. But new information emerged that suggested she had not been telling the truth. Ultimately it was discovered that Donald Trump’s name had been inserted into this, he was not involved whatsoever. After that she had no credibility.”

The woman’s credibility also took a hit after it was learned that aside from a rather troubled upbringing in a broken home, the woman had a long history of drug abuse that included two DUI convictions and one for felony possession of a controlled substance.

The woman’s claims had initially been leveled against noted pedophile and former President Bill Clinton pal Jeffrey Epstein, with Trump’s name being added to the mix apparently only after the suit had been filed.

From the moment he was named in the suit, Trump adamantly maintained that the allegation was a “hoax.” It now appears as though Trump was correct in his dismissal of the anonymous accusation.

This sure wasn’t what Clinton’s campaign wanted to hear just before Election Day, but maybe they should have thought of that before pushing unsubstantiated allegations against their opponent.
